The University of Melbourne is filled with many exciting museums and collections.
Cultural Treasures Days at the University of Melbourne was a popular success. There were exhibitions, talks, demonstrations, displays, tours, performances and workshops. The event profiled the richness and diversity of the University's 33 cultural collections and museums. There was entertainment, fascination and fun for grown-ups and children across the Melbourne campus. Cultural Connotations developed and managed this celebration for the University.

fronting mona lecture
In anticipation of the opening of the Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart, the University of Tasmania’s School of Art presented the course Fronting MONA. Annette Welkamp was invited to lecture on Controversy in art exhibitions. The talk focused on the 1997 exhibition of the work of Andres Serrano and the differing reactions to it in the Netherlands and in Australia.
