It identifies gaps in the collection, and directions for overcoming them. It also contains accession and deaccession strategies. The art collection in Hawthorn, Camberwell, Kew and Balwyn is now set to get stronger.

Cultural Connotations prepared the public art strategy for the City of Boroondara. This project focused on opportunities and protocols for public art in Hawthorn, Camberwell, Kew and Balwyn in inner Melbourne. The two prioirty sites reviewed were the Camberwell Civic Centre and the Hawthorn Town Hall redevelopments. Great opportunities for some art abound so watch those spaces.

We have completed a significance assessment of this important art collection. This review relates specifically to the 2,000 photographs, drawings, antiquarian publications, watercolours, prints and artists books.
